More on Pole's Big Adventure

Sega's official website for Pole's Big Adventure has now been opened, it features some very catchy music. If you know Japanese, you might get even more out of it.

There's also this video showing footage of Pole in action.

Seeegaaaa! It's subtle, but I think that level might have been influenced by the first Super Mario Bros.

Indications are that Pole's Big Adventure will be exclusive to WiiWare. Is this a game you'd want to see localized?

Ok, so this game doesn't look like a total failure but it's still a ripoff nonetheless.

Uhh, it's called a parody.

It's like Vectorman and Mario combined and not the complimentary parts either. Still I miss the old SEGA opening, good to see it back.

That's actually a pretty cute parody! I wouldn't mind trying it out.

Wait, is it pronounced poe-l or po-lay.

That is just a change of costumes and changing the fireball to a gun. I'm guessing either they have permission from Nintendo to do this or, *calls Nintendo, tells that Sega made total rip off of Super Mario Bros*. (Two days later) *Extra!: Nintendo has sued Sega for making a game that is almost exactly the same as their Super Mario Bros*.

It has clearly been stated that this game is a homage to past nes games, not a rip off! I for one will be enjoying this when it launches, to those who wrongly criticize this game or games like it need to learn more about gaming now and then before trying to state what they think it is (no offense meant).
