WOHO the Wii's momentum hasn't broke yet and it looks like it isn't going to be for a long, long time.

Said it myself 2 weeks back, judging on sales data. What people forget is this data gets to us late, by the time we read it it's already old. I was thinking the other day by the time The Conduit is released Wii could easily be at 35 million userbase, so big sales should be easy with good reviews and some advertising.

This is obvious.

I know wii's hugely successful, and sells huge amounts daily, but with everything there has to be a point at which sales slow. If and when they release new colors, they will time that probably, with an updated Wii, probably with dvd playback (it's been on talk for ages) that will be perfectly timed, for around when people might be looking for new wiis (when they get older / less reliable), or when sales dip, and people want different colors. But my original point, are there enough casual gamers out there to surpass PS2 lifetime sales? Most hardcore gamers just aren't interested, mainly PS2/Xbox owners, so they need to be made up for by casuals.

Strange, I wonder why Japan's got the lowest sales?

Sonic, have you noticed how small japan is compared to everywhere else? I'm surprised it's sales are so high there and cover such little space, must mean there are Wiis at every corner.

Japan is tiny compared to the US. They do good.

Wow this console beat Atari's lifetime and 64's and even Genesis' lifetime. Sorry Wii, 2 times more to beat NES.
Diddy Kong Lover said:
Sell 2 times more Wii, and you'll sell more than even NES.

Wow past N64, at this rate it'll sell past even NES.
