Will WiiWare allow home gamers to create games? It'd be all the more worth it.

That would be great.

That's cool. But I thought Dr Mario was going to be one of the first WiiWare games released.

It seems this WiiWare, from what other articles have brought forward, that not only will big developing groups will be making Wii unique games for sale, but so will small time developers as well. It's unclear to everyone how this will happen, or how it will be done, or if home gamers can make games, but it's something that'll definitely be rocketing the Wii's popularity higher than humanly possible. Expect ripoffs from Microsoft and Sony of this idea to save their butts from an impending dirt nap.

How could you already know that, it was not originally scheduled for March or any month, it was said to hopefully be March, April or May at the latest. Where do you get your news? I have a friend who has worked at Nintendo since we finished high school and we're in our 30s.

Ok I am still new to Wii but I was under the impression WiiWare was just their name for non game software on the Wii, is this an old thread? I see "WiiWare" on the shop channel already and its been there since I got my Wii just prior to Christmas, could anyone help clear this up for me?
