Wireless Nunchuk adapter by Icon

Ever seen a Nunchuk looking like this? I know I hadn't! This is an adapter by 3rd party peripheral maker Icon, it turns your standard Nunchuk into a wireless one.

The wireless will work across an impressive distance of up to 7 meters. Why you'd want it to is another matter. The cord from your Nunchuk fits snugly into the shell, out of sight and out of mind. On the down side, 2 AAA batteries are needed for it to work.

No wrist strap = instant disaster in waiting. And that thing looks like it might damage your TV quite a lot if it slips out of your hand.

I disagree, I think the straps are for stupid people who can't control their own appendages.

Ugly. I'll just wait for Nyko's, if I even get one. I love my Nunchuck anchored. I don't want to hurl anything.

You've got a point there crimson fang. It's just like a very cool looking car with no seat belts or air bags, stylish but a potential hazard. I still may get it though. I got a firm grip on video game controllers.

It looks like it would be heavy to move around. Plus it is weird looking.

Whatever, I like the Wiimote better on its own on the side anyway.

It looks like a beam pistol from Halo.

I almost broke my nunchuck wire by stretching it out too far on the RE4 cutscenes and when I used special moves on DBZT3. After 2 years, it's about time one of these is made. I just wish it would take AA batteries instead of AAA. Now I have to go to another store again and buy rechargeable AAA batteries.

Well you won't be swinging that around like you would the Wii mote, and your hands will be 90-100% wrapped around it if I am correct.

Isn't there one already made by niko or something?

I have really never played a game where you wave around the nunchuck.

That's not a nunchuk, that's a CHAKRAM.

At least they're AAA batteries instead of the money eating AA's. I agree 100 percent with Crimson Fang.

What's the point of going 7 meters if your Wiimote can't even go that far?

This looks cooler than the other ones I've seen, including Nyko's effort. I still don't want it though, I'd rather keep the cable than mess with batteries.

Customer: I wanted a wireless nunchuk not a lump donut. Employee: This is the wireless nunchuck.

I'm just saying it because 1) It has a polished surface, no grips at all from what I see. And 2) Yes, your hand will be in there, but if it starts sweating and you're thrusting the nunchuck forward or moving a lot, and add in time (usually the longer you play, the more relaxed your grip can get, or it can get sore), it can slip out of your hand. And you may have a firm grip, but do all your friends/family that use your Wii? Just think before you buy it.

I already have problems with batteries for Wii remotes.

You could add your own wrist strap easily. There is a small hole near where the bottom of the nunchuk is that you can tie your own wrist strap on.
