A report just out states that 2 million Wiis have been manufactured in the 3rd quarter of this year (July - September). This figure has exceeded all expectations. Furthermore, a staggering 7-9 million units are expected in addition during the fourth quarter. Nintendo are clearly doing their very best to meet demands and ensure no one is left out on launch day. Go Wii!

Whoa, that's a lot of Wiis. One thing though, Nintendo has always done a great job of keeping their systems in stock during a launch holiday, so why do Sony and Microsoft do so poorly in that area?
