Publishers Rising Star have sent out a press release blowing their own trumpet about the number of accolades received for Wii game No More Heroes.
"This has been a standout year for No More Heroes and Rising Star Games. We have had great critical reception for NMH from the start, to be nominated in so many categories and rank inside the top ten in polls proves how well a 3rd party title can do on the Wii console if you get it right. We're all very excited to see the next step up in NMH2".
That was a quote from Martin Defries, the managing director of Rising Star. Fans of Travis Touchdown will be able to catch up with him again in the sequel No More Heroes: Desperate Struggle.

I don't think it's a good idea to make a sequel of a great game just because of good criticism.

Clearly Europe only, after all the US version was done by ironically European-based Ubisoft.

Eh, I think No More Heros was a "Hmm, we need a sequel to this game, but we are not going to make one unless the game sells well". And it did, Kudos NMH, and I will get the next installment (pending getting a new Wii, other lost due to complications). I am glad you didn't go the way of Advent Rising.
