Over in Japan, Square Enix has held a press conference with some important news. The tenth game in the Dragon Quest series is heading exclusively to the Wii console. Nintendo President Satoru Iwata was present at the event and was more than pleased.
Dragon Quest is Square Enix's second most popular franchise. It's an RPG series, particularly popular with Japanese gamers and Dragon Quest X will likely represent a big boost for the Wii.

YES A 1000 Times, I have been waiting for the hardcore RPGs to come to the Wii. First Tales of Symphonia, now this, and it's exclusive which I am a bit surprised. This leads to hope that a Kingdom Hearts 3 could be for Wii.

Awesome news, Dragon Quest X is now on my Wii wishlist of upcoming games right behind Arc Rise Fantasia, Fragile, Murumasa: The Demon Blade, Tenchu 4, Monster Hunter 3, Fatal Frame 4, The Conduit, Pikmin 3, Sin and Punishment 2, No More Heroes 2, Punch-Out! It's about time Square decided to ditch SONY, now if only Final Fantasy XIV would be Wii only. More to my list which compliments Kirby, Sadness, Sin and Punishment 2, No More Heroes 2, MadWorld, FFCC:The Crystal Bearers, Red Steel 2, Fragile, Pikmin 3, and of course the next DK game if there ever is one.
