Wii crowned on Edge cover

More magazine love for the Wii. The July 2007 edition of Edge features a golden Wiimote on its cover. Underneath is written "Who dares wins", symbolizing Nintendo's brave approach of gameplay before graphics.

Wii haters and skeptics must now bow down before Wii. Relatively speaking, Sony is WAY behind! By the way, 2007 is the final year for the PS2 so that does not count.

Right on! Wii rules. Pure fun unlike 360 & PS3. People have forgotten what consoles are made for! If you want to watch movies just buy a DVD player. Come on! Why do gamers need dvd players? Blue-ray? Why? I've got an xbox and I have never used its dvd function ever.

Yes. Graphics mean so little to me, it really is all about gameplay, the "ooh shiny precious" people can have their ps3 and xbox, I'll take the system with the best games (reason I chose the ps1 back in the day too).

Nice. They should totally make that trophy real and give it to Nintendo. I would, if I had enough money. (*poor*).

Yup! Edge is a magazine printed in the UK and the author's opinions are generally well respected. I personally think they rate some games a bit harshly sometimes.
