Footage of someone playing Mario Super Sluggers in Japan has appeared on YouTube.. and it's a pretty slow news day so far.
You might want to skip the first two minutes (other than to check out the character select screen), for some reason the guy takes forever to get the game started.
I'm not crazy for sports games, but this does look quite fun.
Mario Super Sluggers is the spiritual successor to Mario Superstar Baseball on GameCube, which most people seem to speak highly of.

Looks so fun! I like the items. I wonder how the Mii stats will work though.

Hope it does have wifi. It needs it so pitcher and batter have their own screen. Split-screen sucks.

I don't see why we need to see how to swing the bat and throw the baseball again. When we learn it on Wii sports.

Since when did Baby Mario get so popular. I'm surprised that they didn't spin off a whole new franchise with baby characters from the Mario universe.

The Mii stats I think works as a weight distribution. If you put your mii to heavy, it will be slow at running, but have lots of power. Light might be fast but not really strong and medium might be average.

I can think of a bunch of characters that can be added but it's pretty cool.
