There's been a lot of speculation about this lately, but Sega and Sonic Team have now officially confirmed that a new NiGHTS game will be released exclusively on Wii.
The original "NiGHTS Into Dreams" came out in 1996 on Sega's ill-fated Saturn console. Sales were mediocre but apparently the game was hot stuff and has a cult following. Those crazy cultists.

Woohoo Sega listened for Nights, now give us Shenmue III! I've started a Shenmue III myspace campaign (legendofshenmue), show your support.

I've never seen or played this game but it did make me want to buy a Saturn, which was rare and expensive for me at the time.

Does Scooby Jew have something against Sega? Anyway, I wonder if they're remaking the original for the Wii, or making a new NiGHTS. If it's the latter, I hope they get the first game onto the VC. I've never played it.

The original pwned lots- We can *probably* safely assume that this will own too. Don't screw it up Sega.

Nights on Wii is tremendous news and it's now one of the games I'm most highly anticipating. Give sega some credit, they've done a lot of good in the world.
