No More Heroes reviewed by Famitsu

Suda51's latest project No More Heroes has undergone a review by Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu.

Thankfully the game seems like a solid effort and it garnered 34/40, the four independent scores out of ten being: 9, 8, 8 and 9.

NMH is exclusive to Wii and is expected to hit the US and Europe in February 2008.

For me this has been a must-buy from the start, but still great to hear about a positive review.

February of next year is going to be the month Sony and Microsoft have been dreading since the Wii's phenomenal success: Super Smash Bros Brawl AND No More Heroes now in the same month. Console sales and profits are going to skyrocket.

I'd like to see something this inventive and original on 360 and PS3, all I see are the same shooters with a new coat of paint. Halo cough.

The beam katana will help keep me occupied until The Force Unleashed. I am picking it up as soon as it ships.

I really want this game, but it's coming out in February and Brawl takes precedence above all.

I'm so looking forward to this game, I love Killer 7 on GC and this game is something that I think is finally going to give Wii owners the edge it needs. I'm tired of people saying Wii is for casual gamers and old folks, that's a bunch of BS. I've been playing video games for 20 something years and I own 360 (well waiting until it comes back since I got RROD) and I own Wii. Yes I am a longtime Nintendo Fan and Nintendo put the fun back in games. Sure Wii don't have the best graphics. So what besides it's different than 360 and PS3 and that's why I love it and I download and play the classics but No More Heroes is going to rule big time can't wait.
