Wiidiscover the web
In the Japanese presentation on Thursday, Nintendo's President Satoru Iwata went through some of the capabilities that Wii U's built-in web browser has. We now have some idea of what it was all about. You might be disappointed to hear the browser doesn't support Flash. That isn't bad news though, as HTML5 is supported, and this seems to be the way Internet-based video is heading. For example, YouTube already has a version of its site for HTML5 users.

Wii's World is not officially affiliated with Nintendo! (but they wish we were).

It's a pretty safe bet that HTML5 will take off so smart move from Nintendo there. Flash is too bloated and slows everything down.
