Wii Play goes platinum in Japan

Wii Play goes platinum in Japan

Wii Play has now sold over a million copies in the land of the rising sun. It joins Wii Sports (not bundled over there) as the second game so far to go platinum.

I hope they're buying it for the Wiimote.

Wiimote is the reason.

Some of Wii Play is OK but the fishing game is completely useless. If you own Twilight Princess (like everyone else), then you've got a RIDICULOUSLY better fishing game.

Wii play isn't all that bad. You can't tell me it's not a fun pick up for a half hour when your buddy comes over type of game. You don't have to get drastically into it and it's competitive when you play other people. It's not THAT bad.

Well at least it's another platinum title to add to the Wii's greatness, yes?

I think it sucks compared to Wii Sports.

Wii play is a lot of fun. I sometimes play a game of fishing, Cow racing or laser pong before work. Just a nice, simple, fun game. And seeing your Mii's in action is a blast!

It's not a Metal of Honor reference, it is derived from an old (very, very old) Japanese phrase. They termed it themselves.

I don't like Wii Play. The wiimote was it's saving grace. If there wasn't a wiimote, the game would suck even more!

Medal of Honor reference, Japan has always been the land of the rising sun due to it's err easternness.

Huh, second after Wii Sports? Meaning Zelda isn't platinum over there?
