Download full DS games on Wii

Nintendo President (in the US) Reggie Fils-Aime recently spoke to the New York Times. He confirmed that in future the DS and Wii will be more tightly integrated. Most interestingly, according to the article not only will DS demos be downloadable, but complete games as well. The Everyone's Nintendo Channel went live weeks ago in Japan, but there's still no mention of when other regions will get it.... read more

Libraries turning to Wii

In the hope of latching onto the Wii's success, the Cape Coral library in Florida will be installing Wii consoles. The thinking is that kids will come for the video games, but stay for the books. Library worker Dawn Wright commented: "If each kid plays for 15 minutes, the rest of the kids are going to be waiting and they're going be talking. They're going to be picking up books". This is just a heads-up, you should probably avoid buying the Psyclone Wii Recharge Station. Numerous reports, as well as 27 out of 29 user feedbacks on Amazon suggest that it can actually destroy your Wiimote. Death by charging. Here are the console sales figures for last week in Japan (December 17th - 23rd). Big big numbers!
