It's been revealed that Nintendo have signed a deal with the Zi Corporation to have the eZiText input technology used on the Wii. This will allow for much easier text input using the Wiimote for features like the message board and possibly web browsing. Some keyboard support is also expected (be it physical and/or virtual) for users who prefer that.
The two companies previously cooperated on the ability to recognise handwriting in certain DS games like the infamous Brain Training.
