Oh, boy I can't wait! This is going to be the best game for the Wii. All the other games will have some big shoes to fill after this one is released.

Oh wow, I can't believe they're making a Bob Ross game. Might as well shoot myself while they're at it.

Edutainment! My favorite genre of them all. I'm gonna love painting with Bob Ross, the Afro Man!

Probably be fun for a day.

Shut up NoNB! If you don't like all of the games, then don't come here ever!

Heh, Anony has issues. Not everyone likes everything, man. Deal. Anyway I really don't see the WiiMote doing something as precise as painting. I just don't.

"anonymous", which isn't actually a handle, has a point. Noah hasn't posted a single positive thing in any of his comments. While it's fair to say that not everybody likes everything, it's a completely different matter for someone to not like anything.

As for this game, it's definitely low on my list of anticipated games, though the Wiimote as a paintbrush IS a somewhat appealing idea. For fans of Bob Ross' show, it could be sort of cool to be able to paint along with him, without the hassle of buying and using actual paint. This is a good example of how Nintendo's trying to draw in people from the non-gaming sect.

DUDE! That is Freakin' A funny right there. I used to watch bob ross to learn how to paint but a game that is too Freakin funny! :P

I love Bob Ross! He's like my most favorite person ever. I'm getting this game the day it goes on sale! Excellent choice by the manufacturers of Nintendo for finally putting in a world-class game.

I'm an artist myself, but I doubt painting with a Wiimote would really satisify me as much as the real thing. You never know though! Just look how Zelda: The Wind Waker turned out. At first many hated it, but when it was released it sold millions of copies!

White guys shouldn't have afros. And Blankzero sounds like my mother breaking up a fight. I'd rather paint for real.

ijanders said:

White guys SHOULD have afros. The fact that they didn't make "Leonardo Da Vinci Painting" or "Rembrandt Harmenszoon van Rijn Painting" shows the true power of Bob Ross' fuzzy ball shaped head.

I'm not trying to brag but I'm a pretty good artist. I give this game a 60% chance of success. And ganondork, r2 is right.

wii-mote dude said:

How are you supposed to paint with the analog stick? I mean, that's really hard on ANY system. And it's going to be really hard with the wii-mote too, if you're not an experienced painter. But otherwise, that actually sounds fun!

Avatar

ganondorfrules said:

P-nut I'm not a ganondork ok! I know that was a payout but p-nut isn't exactly the best thing to call yourself also. But anyway it wasn't my fault I have curly hair. I hate it, I want straight hair but no I can't do that otherwise my school will make me cut it all off because it wasn't my natural hair style. I don't have permission to straighten it, but this game no way I'm not getting it.

It's games like these that are going to make non Nintendo fans (if they even exist) laugh at all of us Wii anticipators. Ah well, let's just cross our fingers!

No one said you had to buy it. Just hire it out and give it a go. But personally that guy looks like a stooge.

I looked up some images of Bob Ross and he has an afro and he has a show about his painting on PBS.

Ah! A 3rd party Mario Paint for the new generation.

PBS Goon said:

I loved that show. If I buy a Wii, then I'll probably at least rent this (though it probably won't be as great as the show). What a crazy concept. A next-gen video game featuring a deceased painter. I hope that they don't have Mario zippin' around the studio collecting coins and shit.

WOOT no more having to spend money on paint and a canvas.

I going to love this game. I love to paint, I've had tons of my paintings in an art show before (and I am not lying neither). I have always wanted to paint with Bob Ross! This game will have to be a must for painters.

The game has been canceled. Can you guys believe it? Why do this to us. Why!

Gone poof.

Crimson Demon, because Nintendo loves us.

I cannot believe that they would deny us the joys of painting. I mean, that's just cruel! We can't paint on any other system now can we? What are we supposed to do now?

Avatar

j.r. said:

Did anyone email bob ross?

Avatar

cmk said:

Nooooooooooooo! Now I won't be able to paint!

Avatar

Crimson Demon said:

Do we have to start painting the TV now with Bob Ross?

Avatar

Crimson Demon said:

If they loved us Wiipaw, why would they cancel the game? We need a reason.

Avatar

DarkVic said:

I guess the developer's brains started to function properly. No more Bob Ross game!

Avatar

wiiman said:

Sorry this game was canceled. I wonder why. Because it sucks. Who wants to paint, seriously. This sounds horrible. He's an old man with an afro painting. WOW. He was even made fun of on family guy.

Avatar

Crimson Hawk said:

Painting is awesome wiiman, you're the one who sucks. And DarkVic we need a better reason for the canceling of the game. But maybe it's for the best. Now that I think about it.

u*noe*it said:

Didnt they like cancel this stupid game?

Avatar

wiiman said:

Painting shouldn't be on the Wii. They've already put disney games on the Wii, why painting? I barely knew who bob ross was. Games that will be successful for the Wii are platformer action [zelda tp type graphics] and shooter and racing games.

Avatar

Hey said:

Wasn't this game canceled?

Avatar

Iza said:

But any game that can expand on what the wii-mote can already do is a good thing in my book. Sure, painting might not sound interesting to you. But have you ever played Okami?

Avatar

Gonzo said:

Painting, are you kidding me? Who is Bob Ross anyway? There is a 0 percent chance I'm getting this. I give this game a F.

Avatar

cmk said:

Wiiman? You may be being a bit narrow minded there. Any genre can succeed if it's pulled off right. And Wii sports was fun, that's not shooter, racing or action. Also rayman, and soon to be warioware. Now, look at a shooter. Red steel really sucked. Excite truck and zelda were good, but you can really screw up an action platformer or a racing game. It all pretty much depends on the developer.

Captain Jamesman said:

Bob Ross? Isn't he that painter from that show on KQKD?

Avatar

itstimetoplaydawii said:

Yeah, I thought they cancelled this? Well, if it does come out, I will probably rent this just to see how the remote is used, then make up my mind there.
