Yea a Jawa game like Sim City. Customise your gang of Jawas and then every once in a while there'd be special events that happened like: You have just found an R2D2 Unit!

Moegopher said:

Haha, that would be awesome, the Jawa Sim City thing.

I don't think this is Star Wars related. Spike is making the game and they can't use Star Wars material. Only Lucasarts can.

Mud said:

Maybe they have publishing rights.

Lord Xenu said:

Man this game had better have jawas, or the jawa like guys from Space Balls.

Avatar

Hey said:

Yeah, like Noah said only it would be more like GTA. You could recruit other Tatooine residents like those sand guys with guns in A NEW HOPE.

Avatar

Commander said:

That would be pimp, grand theft auto jawas.

Darunia106 said:

Those sand guys with guns? They're called Tusken Raiders, or Sand People as Luke calls 'em. Also, it would be kinda ironic if it was a GTA game, because those kind of games are in a genre called sandbox games (chuckle).

twang said:

Apparently you dont know the difference between jawas and tusken raiders.

I love Jar Jar.

Jawas are funny with guns.

Apparently we don't twang. Will you kindly tell us what the difference is?

They should make more Star Wars games for Nintendo.

Nintendo Fan No1 said:

It isn't Star Wars. Nor is it the Czech Republic based motorbike firm.

Twang said:

Jawas are the little people wearing brown cloaks with hoods. Their faces are obscured. Tusken raiders wear tanish cloaks and have masks.

Hey said:

Oh yeah, Tusken raiders. But what confuses me, is that Anikin killed the whole freaking colony of 'em in II. But in a IV, in the same place where Anikin was, Luke and Kenobi get bothered by the same guys. Weird.

Avatar

ladeda said:

True, jawas also say the weirdest things ever like lakduohyfek in some high pitched voice.

Must..have..wii said:

He obviously didn't kill every tusken raider. They are like indians. Not being racist or anything but yeah, colonial time indians. Because in Star Wars, apparently when they colonised Tatooine these creatures attacked the first settlements. The town was called Tusken, thus the name "Tusken Raiders". What I'm getting at is, you still see indians around today! It was just a small village Anakin destroyed I think.

Isn't Jawa an island of Indonesia?

Avatar

Dropbear said:

The island of Java is known in Indonesia as Jawa.

No one knows what this game is about? That's stupid, I can't find anything helpful about it. Just that it's from Nintendo, it's for the Wii and that's it. Nowhere does anything say what it's about!

*dribble* mmm lightsaber combat with Wii remote. Fps star wars game a la jedi knight series.

Anyone thinking how cool star wars games would be for Wii. I mean Lightsabers come on that's got to be awesome.

Avatar

wiiman said:

If they made a star wars game for the Wii it would rock, besides lego star wars. Any sword game will work on the Wii just because of the wiimote.

Does this really have to do with Star Wars?

Avatar

trentonWii said:

No, I don't think it does. It's japanese, only japan release I think. Probably an RPG.

Avatar

Hey said:

Nihongo hanashimashita. But then I forgot a little bit, so I'm rusty. I'm not sure what Jawa means.

I take Japanese as a course. You said "I used to speak Japanese" (but you need to put a "wo" between the two words. Wo is an action marker. Jawas are awesome. But I agree with trentonWii, it most likely is something in japanese (but I don't know what). We'll know when the cover and snapshots are released.

wiiman said:

I found out what jawas are, they are the guys in brown hoodies who scavenge for materials in star wars.

wiiman64 said:

Jawa - sell stolen droid: $200, repair treads: $1000, steal and hustle: priceless. For everything else there's mastercard LOL.

Whoever said that spike can't make it, they are wrong. Lucasarts simply gets the idea, makes some art, and lets another company do the rest. Perhaps Spke is that partner.

I think it's meant to say JAWS.

Avatar

wiirules said:

Hah, just read this whole thread, funny stuff, starts with 007 ends up with tuskan raiders. I think it's a caveman game, start your own tribe, fight others, could be quite good. Hope it's not Japan only.

Avatar

Hey said:

These aren't the Jawas we know and love.

Nova said:

This is officially not Star Wars related. And everyone has to agree that this is some of the worst looking graphics on the Wii.

Avatar

jskrdude said:

Dang it. It's not a star wars game, its just an adventure game with PS1 graphics.

Avatar

Pako Doom said:

I think it could be fun, a nice caveman RPG, a very under-represented niche in RPGs. I don't think I've ever had the pleasure of beating on a saber tooth tiger with a club. It might be more like a platformer with heavy item collecting.

Avatar

Ferox said:

Does this sort of remind anyone of the old game "tale of the Sun" from ps1? An open ended cave man type of game, was a great underrated game.
