Need for Speed: ProStreet

Need for Speed ProStreet is a ground-breaking Need for Speed experience where you're thrust to compete head to head against the best street racers in a multitude of racing showdowns. The game is being developed by EA Black Box in Vancouver, B.C., and is slated to ship this fall.

"Need for Speed ProStreet accelerates street racing culture by providing the ultimate stage for the pursuit of street racing supremacy," said Executive Producer, Larry LaPierre. "This is a game about building the ultimate performance-tuned battle machine, taking it to multi-disciplinary showdowns all over the world and pitting your skills and reputation against the very best street racers."

Need for Speed ProStreet boasts impeccable precision and impressively detailed photo-realistic graphics, effectively transporting you to the center of the action. It pushes the "Autosculpt" technology to a new level, allowing you to directly impact your car's performance for the first time as well as personalize its appearance. Need for Speed ProStreet is a true taste of raw adrenaline and racing with consequences. Every dent, every scratch and every crumpled body panel is a battle scar, proof of your commitment and competitive mettle. With an aggressive and skilled AI system, you become immersed in an unmatched believable race experience. Add in a revolutionary online mode that will redefine the meaning of competitive social play, and Need for Speed ProStreet is the ultimate formula for an emotionally charged street racing showdown.

It releases November 7th.

Sounds cool, got to get one myself. Hope the elements of the game can switch from day to night and not in just one time period. My favorite car is the mazda rx-7.

Hope you don't have to unlock the dodge challenger by doing something real hard.

From everything I've seen so far, I honestly don't think that this new game in the NFS series can match up to Need For Speed Most Wanted, or Carbon. EA needs to put some awesome new features in the new game, besides the improved car damage feature that they have been talking about.

I am a NFS freak, it's so on the list.

Yata! Need For Speed is the coolest.

I understand, but we're all disappointed whit Carbon, not MW, that was a great game. I hope that PS will rock, NFS series needs it.

Carbon wasn't good, but this looks great! Why does the date keep changing? I want it now.

I want it now. Juiced 2 sucks so bad compared to NFS.

Hope there is online.

Looks pretty cool. Who said girls can't play racing games?

washoe said:

This game looks the best of any previous editions. Most wanted was not bad, except for the graphics at high speeds. Carbon was super hard for me, but my 17-year-old brother beat it with zealous effort. I personally like the Burnout series more, even though those cars are just made up.

sweet alabama said:

Yeah, Washoe! I also prefer the older series like Burnout series and Cruis'n series. Don't you think they've made enough of these NFS police-chasing street-racing games? In my opinion, this series lacks the originality of the two latter franchises.

I played this game and you can even drift if you completed the road challenge. Dudes it is awesome, the best need for speed game.

Well I might get this game, but I hate when you can't take off the spoiler. It makes it look like a shopping trolley.
