I liked all the Need for Speed games, especially Most Wanted that game rocked the racing world.

I think Wii will own! Can't imagine how cool it will be to play a NFS game with the new controllers!

Some people doubt the Wii's graphics. Those people are stupid. Looks awesome.

Lord Random said:

Still the new type of NFS. It's all because of NFS3. That's when the illegal element kicked in. That's when it started to get all gangsta 'n stuff. Whatever happened to the good old days of NFS when it was all about the racing, failing miserably and then learning how to win? But it's all gone to waste. Now people only care about how flashy the car is and not how it works. See ya in hell!

I'd rather buy Excite Truck.

Yeah, Excite Truck looks really fun.

Excite truck is probably the most boring game ever! Try the demo before you buy it. I think it sucks bigtime.

Lord random this aint the 1990's this is the 21st century ok? You see these sort of cars driving around the place. Well I do anyway, and also these cars are replicas from the Fast and the Furious movies but they don't copy the story, which is good. Finally a game that has the same materials as a movie but not based on a movie. I think it would be better if you don't have to free roam around in your car and you can walk around as the person you are. You could talk to people and enter some buildings to do missions for people. I think that would be a more interactive and entertaining game.

Hey look at the release date of it, it's November 3rd. Maybe the wii comes out then, even though Nintendo said they wouldn't share the release date until September.

checkyourhead said:

The Wii's graphics are subpar. Far, far subpar. Nintendo's risking bankrupcy if the new controller and backward-compatibility aren't enough for prospective buyers. I hope all these screenshots are just some massive joke Nintendo's playing on us all. Sadly, I don't think I could play the Wii much, as I'd be constantly reminded visually of how I'd compromised and should have bought a 360.

Wow you're a downy. I think they should be banned from this site, Nintendo don't anything for fun, they can get massively sued if they do false advertising.

Need for speed rocks. This will be an awesome game.

Checkyourhead, check your head. This is a site to come and talk about ninty's genius and/or games. Though I, myself prefer the former, frowning upon Nintendo here is frowned upon in my book. In summary, go away! You're becoming as bad as Noah in that one post.

This will be my favorite racing game when it comes out because Most Wanted may have been a bit overrated with the bounty thing. Like I can handle the cops and Cross but collecting bounty for bosses that sucks and the cars were awesome too.

I agree with darkvic its graphics are one of the best I've seen yet.

NFS Most Wanted had cars you couldn't ram off the road and AI that was rubber banded.

Are those Wii screens? They look like the general promotion shots EA used months ago. I've seen PS3 footage, if those are Wii screens enough said, Wii competes. Who needs HD? Combine that with fingers crossed sweet controls, my god I'll actually like an EA game.

Wii-Worshiper said:

If this game stays with these graphics it will be a must buy!

Avatar

wii-mote dude said:

Yeah no kidding. Those graphics are incredible!

Avatar

tabsina said:

I think a lot of the screens are general NFS-Carbon screens, and not only for the Wii. For some reason I don't think the Wii will get those GFX.

Avatar

Wii-Worshiper said:

Well Tabsina if you're right (which you probably are) that sucks. But the game will still be fun.

Well the drift races are really dumb in this edition.

Avatar

wiiarethepeps123 said:

The drifting is the best part! In Most Wanted if I drifted it would slow me down considerably but in this game it doesn't look that way.

This is the coolest game ever.

Sorry Scooby !_Jew, but this one is from Gamecube as well.

Need for Speed Carbon looks awesome but I went to a store and it said it uses the nunchuck controller and wiimote instead of just the wiimote as a steering wheel. Does anyone if the wiimote will be a steering wheel in Need for Speed Carbon?

Avatar

cooldang3r said:

This game rocks, especially the new controllers. I love those canyon duel races in it. Now waiting for nfs: oxygen.

Avatar

wiiman said:

This game is so sweet. I have it and I got the steering wheel. It rocks. A little sensitive but I don't care.

Crimson Demon said:

Thumbs up on the graphics.

Scooby!_Jew said:

Wow, thank you, Sonic Fan, I didn't realize that this particular "forum" was for the Gamecube too. Especially since I noticed that way before you did and shortly after I posted. You're so considerate.

Tenacious J said:

I rented it to try it out and was and was disappointed to find out that the game sucks, which is really too bad because I really liked all the NFS games until it got into this whole underground racing stuff. That's not what made it bad though. The graphics are VERY pretty which is one plus that I'll give it, but the controls stink and they're WAY too sensitive. I also found it annoying that you had to use the nunchuk to partially navigate the menus and then either take it off each time or let it dangle unused while you raced.

Avatar

Iza said:

That sucks. I think they would have left the steering on the analog and made the wii-mote your shifter with A and D-Pad being your boost / speedbreaker / crew / map / etc. Imagine how sweet it would be to be actually upshifting and downshifting like in a real car.

I bought Most Wanted on its release date. It was good for a while but it was kind of repetitive.

You got to get used to the controls man (tenacious 3). Picking this up after Christmas.

Avatar

Gonzo said:

Don't have it yet for my Wii. I am going to get it after christmas. I hope this is a fun game.

Avatar

Spiros said:

Ace game, got it for xmas. At the start it can be frustrating to learn it. But once you do it's ace. I've had it for 3 days and I can say it's as precise as playing it on the 360.

I'm not sure if I should buy this game. I have zelda tp and I can get one more, but I don't know which one I should choose.

This game is my favourite Wii game at the moment, the controls and graphics are some of the best on the Wii so far and the gameplay is solid.

Hot graphics!

This game is pretty awesome. The drifting I found was very difficult at first along with learning the original controls, but when you figure it out it pwns the joy stick.

Got it, it rocks. Tenacious J, you must have lanky arms or have no license or are just crap at it so you give an excuse.

I'm on the final boss and I have a Lamborghini Gallardo, booyakasha. This is a pimptastic game and the steering is amazing with the steering wheel. Checkyourhead you should check your head to see if you have a brain. These screenshots aren't a joke and that's why nintendo's stocks are sky high and that's why everybody here loves Nintendo. Because they take risks unlike sony and microsoft. And tenacious j you are really lazy because it takes a second to take the nunchuck off and the controls are what made this game. It is good it is sensitive so you can actually turn. The car choice in this game rocks and you need to get a brain to get used to the Wii mote. That's the whole point of the Wii.

Avatar

Gonzo said:

Do you use the wiimote like you use it for Excite Truck?
